Personal Statement

My name is Eric Haney and I am a 6'0", 210 lb middle linebacker from Danville, PA. My dream is to play football in College. I've been playing football since I was twelve and want to continue to play after high school. I have maintained a 3.6GPA, while playing varsity football at Danville Area High School since my freshman year and as a starter both sophomore, junior, and senior years. I was selected as a First Team All-State Linebacker my junior and senior years by the PA Sports Writers' Assoc., as well as First Team All Heartland Conference Division 1, my sophomore, junior, and senior years. My plan is to attend an institution with a good program in Childhood Education or Criminal Justice. I would love to continue playing football after college in the NFL, but I plan on getting my education first. I am confident that I will make a positive impact on any program as a teammate and as a leader.
