Tyler McLaughlin '13 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'0”, 185 lb quarterback from East Stroudsburg, PA.  Currently a senior, I was the starting quarterback and co-captain of the varsity football team at East Stroudsburg High School South this past season. I also started as quarterback my junior year as well. I carry a 4.01 weighted GPA and was awarded the Scholar Athlete of my team this year. I have a strong work ethic and a great desire to improve myself in any way possible. It is my dream to play college football and I hope I can achieve this in the very near furture. I want to be the best on the field and in the classroom.

For this reason, I am interested in attending an institution where I can find the right balance between both football and academics. I would like to attend a university with an outstanding academic reputation in the field of engineering. My athletic goals for college are to strive to be better on the field, as well as, learn and grow through my studies. All the while, I hope to make an impact and create a lasting impression on my new coaches, new team, new friends, and on all those I meet throughout my coming years. Through football, I hope to become an even more well-rounded individual; one that positively influences others and betters himself in preparation for the life he hopes to lead in years to come.
