Samuel Mansfield '11 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My Name is Sam Mansfield iâ??m age 18 and graduating in 2011 from Riverside high school. I was a senior in football this year and our team finished with a 5-4 record. I�??m team captain this year as well as class president in the classroom. I average around a 3.4GPA and take my class work seriously. . I'd like to go into the dietitian and nutrition major or an exercise science major .I Love the Game of football. I can�??t wait for the College season to start. It is the rawest form of competition and I love every bit of it. As a defensive end and line backer my strengths lie in speed and strength but most of all the knowledge of the game I know where the ball is going before the ball is snapped. My technique is far more superior than my peers due to extra time put in with the coaches. I am very disciplined and I work hard to prevail in the gridiron. I lift twice a day on different body parts (i.e.. Back and Bi, chest and tri, shoulders and lats. Legs and calves.) I Bench 405(225x31), Squat 425, dead lift 525lbs. I was honorable mention DL sophomore year and then named one of the top 22 best defensive players in the conference (first team) my Junior Year, then my senior year i was named Top 22 OL/DL in the conference. i was a nominee for top 2 DL in the entire WPIAL (Over 150+ Teams) for my SR season. I was a team captain my junior year and also my senior year. My dream is to play for university and to play in a stadium with thousands of fans cheering. I�??m just looking for a school that is right for me I enjoy a challenge and competition only makes one better.
