My time as a student athlete has been amazing. I started out as a nine year old playing union youth football. When I played for union I was the swiss army knife of players, my coches put me in almost everywhere. I spent most of my time at union on the line for the three years I played for them. My coches were some of the nicest people I knew and while brutal they taught all of the players on that team life lessons. I learned so much from them and they taught me most of what I know about football. Those coaches were the ones that got me hooked on football for life. In my time at union my first year we received second place my second year we received third and my final year we received seventh. Everyone knows how it is to lose and I completely understand it but I respect all players, the ones with and against me. I am a great sport and when someone falls on the field or in the paths of life I do all I can to pick them back up.
After union I moved onto highschool football as we were a small school we didn’t have a middle school or a junior varsity team so are teams consisted of 7th-9th graders as of now i am a 9th grader but our 9th grade season hasn’t started but my time as an 8th grade panther was amazing. When I played I always had the support of my team and we were like family to each other when one of us made a good play the whole team congratulated them. when someone made a poor play everyone was there to help them do better and build off of our mistakes. I still remember my first score like it was yesterday. We were going for a 2 point and me as a full back rammed up the middle into several players. I knocked everyone in my way over and I got that score with the help of my brothers.
To this day I am an extremely active athlete running 5 miles every other day and working out every night. I pride myself on my athletic abilities and that’s just a small fraction of what I am about. I am a very intelligent kid. I work hard in school and most of my grades are high A's. I look at grades and even life like the quote “A chain is only as strong as its weakest link”~Thomas Reid. i maintain all my grades but i always put more effort into my lowest and when my worst grade becomes my best and the process continues my worst grade after time becomes pretty amazing. I stay after school often to get extra studying in and catch up on grades, another thing I pride myself on, mental capacity, endurance, and motivation. This really helps me with sports and I know that for a fact because when something falls behind in my athletic abilities I give everything else equal attention and put a lot of focus on my weakest link. I believe that this sets me apart from most athletes because I focus on tiny things and I'm always improving. I am an extremely talented kid i come from a very christian home and background and this also helps me to stay calm and it gives me a reminder that no matter what, I have a shoulder to lean on, someone to talk to, to let it all out someone i can tell my problems to and someone to praise when i work hard for solutions.
In conclusion, I do everything to the best of my ability and I work mercilessly till I achieve the best in me and everyone around me. I am a leader, a helper, a supporter, i am an achiever, i am always set on doing good and being better and i do truly believe i am collage material and i am willing to put it all on the line to achieve greatness and do good for myself, others, and everything.
