Hello, my name is Derek Peachey. I am in 12th grade and I played football for Newport High School in Newport, Pennsylvania. I was a starting defensive and offensive tackle for my team. My first year playing football was my freshmen year in high school, and I was a three year starter and a captain for two years. My team has had great success in the past four years making strong playoff runs. This year we won the school's first ever district III championship in football and became the first team to ever make it to the state playoffs. I also started wrestling in 11th grade and I am continuing that this year. I am very hard working and I make sure to always try to motivate my teammates on and off the field. I have worked very hard to be able continue my football career through college while pursuing an accounting degree I believe being a student athlete in college will not only be an incredible experience, but it will help me to stay on top of my class work and keep my grades up as well as stay out of trouble. I am looking for a high academic school that can help me be successful after graduation in the professional world.
