Growing up, both my mom and my dad have had a great influence on who I am today. They've always pushed me to put 110% effort in everything that I do. They also taught me that giving up is never an option if I want to succeed in life.
I started playing football and running track at six years old. Playing football tests my ability to be mentally and physically tough. As I get older, I plan on continuing to challenge myself in both sports.
I'm currently working to keep my grades up and maintain a high GPA because I know it is important and necessary to be academically successful.
I really enjoy playing sports because it allows a team of people to have to work together in order to achieve a common goal. I consider myself a leader and strive to better myself in every way possible- but also know that as a leader I must encourage the people around me to do the same.
