My dream is to play football after high school and it has been for a very long time. I have worked very hard in the weight room to gain size and strength for football and I have worked very hard to get my speed up as well. My freshman year I weighed one hundred and ten pounds, with my work in the weight room and growing taller I have gotten up to six foot two inches and weigh one hundred and ninety pounds. I have increased my speed as well I can now run a 4.84 in the forty yard dash and I am positive I can get that down to a 4.7 with the speed program my football team has in the summer. Going to college is a huge dream for me not only because I have the opportunity to play football after high school but I have the chance at furthering my education which will help me so much in life. I would also be the second person in my family to play a sport at the collegiate level and two of my siblings have gone to and graduated from college. The opportunity to go to college alone is amazing, the opportunity to play football in college would be the ultimate dream come true and everything I have worked for. Since I have written this my team has started our summer practices where we run and lift and I have gotten a personal best for my forty time at a 4.75. I also broke my hand last year during the second game of the season so I went to the doctor and got cast and wore it for a day, then I played the rest of the season with a broken hand.
