Blake Bradshaw '12 Recruiting Profile

Since I started playing football in third grade, it has been my desire to play at the college level. I am open to large and small schools. Geographical location is not as important to me as having a real opportunity to compete for playing time and receive a solid education. . I am not afraid of hard work and want to find a school where the coaches are focused on player development both on and off the field. I have always played quarterback but I am open to playing other positions if it makes sense. I played sparingly on varsity as a sophomore and had a productive off-season. I attended the National Underclassmen Combine where I was named to the �??all combine�?? team and was invited to the East Coast Ultimate 100 combine. I became the starter in 2010 (my junior year). Unfortunately, I suffered a season ending injury (broken wrist) and did not have the opportunity to play. However, I learned a lot about my desire, resilience and leadership ability during this season. I look forward to getting back on the field. I am 6�??1�?? and 190 pounds. My 40 time is currently 4.8 with a 4.4 shuttle time. I bench 155 (11 times) with a 250 max and squat 350. All of these will continue to improve. I have been told by coaches that I have very good �??football speed,�?? quickness and that I make good decisions. I have also started on the varsity basketball team since my freshman year. I believe the biggest thing I can offer a school, besides my ability to play, is that I am a good teammate. I try to lead by example and work hard. I believe that lifts everyone to a higher level. With the timing of my injury, there is not a lot of game film to be reviewed. However, I believe I may be a under the radar and will be able to contribute at a high level with the right program. All I am looking for is an opportunity. I will put in the work and not let that coach down.
