Markese Williams '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a born competitor on and off the field. Even if I’m just playing hoops in the driveway with friends, I’m competing to win! I’ve been competing and striving to improve my skills since the first time I held a football at 3 years old.  I out hustle on the field during practice and games. I am a Junior serving as team captain and am a multi-functional player with mad wide receiver skills on offense, intense speed and height at corner on defense, and make kickers kick the other way on kickoffs because they want to avoid kicking to me. I strive to be a good sportsman on the field and will help a player up after knocking him down. I push my teammates to do the same and try to keep my brothers hype during games and practice. I am always looking to help younger players succeed and offer advice/support.  I also try to be the voice of my brothers to the coaching staff so we are all on the same page. I love being a student and apply these same skills to my studies. I am a very social student and enjoy all aspects of being a good student-athlete.
