Dominique Davis '12 Recruiting Profile

To Whom It May Concern, Hello my name is Dominique A. Davis. I was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and I am presently a sophomore at Bishop McDevitt High School. Bishop McDevitt is just outside of Philadelphia in Wyncote, PA and I am really enjoying my educational experience there so far. I am the oldest of three children. I have a three year old sister and a one year old brother. The best thing about being an older brother is the feeling of responsibility to be a positive person that they will one day look up to. I want to be able to help show them that your goals in life can be meet with hard work and dedication. My family is very important to me and my parents have always been there to support me throughout life and all its endeavors. I know I am a lucky person because the past few years have been a challenge to my family, but my parents have always provided for my siblings and I to the best of their abilty. My father has recently become disabled and he is still dedicated to furthering my education and fine tuning my showman ship for football. He giudes me in the right direction for school and continues to play a major role in helping me develop my skills for football. I am determined to be college bound and will work hard to acheive my goal. In my two years at McDevitt I have played for both Varsity and Junior Varsity. The positions I have played are cornerback, free safety, strong saftey, wide receiver, and also on special teams. I am 6'1" and I weigh 165lbs. I also can run a 4.7 forty. I have always loved the game of football and at a very young age understood its ins and outs. I believe that to be one of my strengths, knoweledge of the game and also my dedication to teamwork. I follow the three "f"s in life. They are faith, family, and football. I am a religious person and I take my faith very seriously. My faith allows me to beleive that one day I will live my dream of playing college football. The most important thing I will bring to my college team is my work ethic and my desire to win. I am open to any college big or small and distance is not an issue. I have not fully committed to a major yet because I am interested in a few fields such as computer technology, business management, and sportsrehab. My most important athletic goal is to make an impact on my team and to compete in a championship game and win! In conclusion if given the opportunity to play college football I will be commmitted to my team and also to my education. I will bring a sense pride and dedication to any college that will give me the chance to further my education and also live my dream.
