As a high schooler I am focusing my time equally both on my academics, as well as on my football game. As to my academics, I dedicate many hours to studying, since I have collegiate goals and many aspirations. Because I have a special interest for the subjects of math and science, school of medicine could most likely be one of my future goals. Additionally, I love the sport of football. I have been playing football since I was 8 years old. And the position of quarterback by the age of 10 years old. I have grown as an athlete and acknowledge thereof that growing as an athlete in so many ways never ends. During my years as a quarterback I have had the opportunity to develop leadership skills. I have had the important role of leading my team, and raising their spirits during tough times. My coaches have instilled in me discipline, sacrifice and dedication, as well as fellowship with my teammates. Due to my high interest in the sport of football and my aspirations as a quarterback, during my free time I focus on the different plays and mistakes made during games to learn from them. My experience has helped me grow both as a person and as a player.
I consider myself a well-rounded student and athlete. I believe that one should go to college with specific and true aspirations. My aspiration is to be the best person I can be both on and off the field. Even though I've played the game basically all my life, I am still to this day just a student to the game. I would like to go to college not just to study and become a professional, but also to learn about the game I love to play which is football. In my opinion, I consider myself to be a perfectionist. I believe that one should always aim to be the best at what they do. Along this line, I believe that one can only get better at something by working hard, with dedication, and always being receptive to new ideas. This is precisely who I try to be everyday of my life.
