Personal Statement

I first became interested in playing football when I was younger because growing up, my dad taught me how to throw a ball, how to punt, and he used to talk about how he played in football. There has been a lot of events that impacted my life, including the fact that I speak fluent French and English, my dad joining the military and moving us away from our home town, my dad and my mom splitting up, my mom becoming abusive and my eventual escape from the abuse. What has also impacted my life in the last 6 years is my dad meeting my step mom and our two families combining. Because of that I now have 6 brothers I didn't plan on having.  Xavier who is 13, Henrik who is 11, Owen who is 9, Duncan who is 7, and Zach and Logan who are 5 and 4 respectively. When I was 12 I also joined the Royal Canadian Air Cadets(similar to the AFJROTC) and have been in the program for almost 6 years. I have learnt through playing football, that I have an affinity for sports and that I have a great love for the sport and would like to take it to the farthest step possible.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
