Stephen Cagle '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Stephen Cagle; i have started at quarterback all four years i have been in high school. Last year as a junior I made the All-Region team and this year I was voted to be a permanent captain by my teammates. I have good size for a quarterback, but am not fast by any means. I would say that I am elusive in the pocket though. I believe my best attribute is my mind. I believe I am the best quarterback in the state at managing a game. I honestly believe I could call most of our plays. My father has been a defensive coach my entire life, I have grown up around football and although still have much to learn have a much better understanding then most players my age. I'm open to go to any type of college or university to play football. I haven't really figured out what I want to do with my life yet, so I don't really know what I want to major in yet. My goal going in to college is to contribute to the team anyway I can. If that means pushing the starting quarterback then that would be fine. I would love to play freshman year, but whatever gives the team the best chance for success is what I want to do.
