I have been brought up in a military family, moving from duty station to duty station every two years. Starting a new life every two years has given me the opportunity to meet new people, learn new cultures, and find out who I truly am. I am resilient, hardworking and have learned to adapt to any environment. Moving so often, I have had to develop these traits to prove myself and earn a starting position in each new football program or academic setting. I enjoy the daily physical challenge, the camaraderie, and being part of a team. I love the competition that football brings. That one on one, skill against skill, aspect of the game is what I work for as a receiver. Just the chance to embarrass the guy in front of me is something I couldn’t live without. The team competition is something I enjoy as well. Seeing everything that your team has been working for play out on the field on game night is worth all the time and sweat that was put in. I would like the opportunity to continue playing football at the collegiate level.
