Tate Kolwyck '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tate Kolwyck from Arlington, TN starting Quarterback for my 6A varsity football team.  I am 5’ 11” 170 pounds with good speed and a strong arm.  I have worked hard on and off the field to keep my grades up while starting as a freshman on both the varsity football and baseball teams.  I led the varsity football team to the 6A TN quarterfinals and the best record in school history going 10-3.  I threw for over 2,000 yards and finished with 26 passing TDs in my freshman year at the varsity level.  My passion is to not only participate in, but also lead my team in the game of football. I currently have a 4.2 GPA, and I am in the Honors program at Arlington High School where I plan on taking the ACT in April.  Competing at this level at such a young age has taught me how to address and conquer the adversities in my life.   I live everyday by the motto, “Let my actions speak louder than any words that can ever be said.” This is how I conduct myself on and off the field.
