I am Antto Toivio from Oulu, Finland and I moved to Tennessee alone in 2015 to start my High School Freshman year at McCallie High School. I followed my passion for being a professional football player and moved from Europe to the US, to make this dream to come true one day.
Currently, I play as a safety and tight end for McCallie High School Varsity Football team. I played American Football since I was nine years old. I used to play with Oulu Northern Lights U17 team, Finland U17 National team and practice from four to seven times a week.
At McCallie, I have been named to the Faculty Recognition List, headmasters list, the honor roll, National Honor Society, and Cum Laude Society, which are very high honors.
I'm a natural leader and a team player in sports. At school teachers recognize me as a social person, I have a good academic level, and I a passion for sports.
I have been accepted to the Manning Passing Academy, Lousiana three times now. I was also accepted to the U17 Finnish National Team 2014.
I have played ice hockey, tennis, swimming, and floorball. I play offense and defense.
I have motivation and determination to follow my dream, even if I have to live on the other side of the world away from my family. I want to make them proud.
