I am Taylor Thomas. I currently attend Jefferson County High School in Dandridge, TN. I have played football since I was in Kindergarten. Football is my passion. I devote my free time to better myself and my team. I work out 4 days a week with a personal trainer, even on days my team has practice. I am on the wrestling team. I use this to develop speed, skill, and flexibility. I have made a commitment to my team and will put forth 110%. Whenever the coach has extra practice or workouts, I am there, even in the off season. I am determined to accomplish my goal and that is to play college football. Anything less is not acceptable. Because of this commitment I have had to choose between vacations, extra curricular activities, or other social events. Some see this as crazy, I see it as accomplishing my goals. You have to keep your eyes on the prize.
I want a college degree, currently I am leaning towards a degree in physical therapy focusing on athletes. I will look at any college where I can obtain my degree and play football. My family is very supportive and will continue that support no matter where I choose to attend to college.
I am a well rounded young man who is able to adapt in any situation. I am a leader not a follower. I know to remove myself from a situation that is detrimental to myself. My family and a lot of my friends describe me as a gentle giant who could get along with the devil. I am not sure that is 100% true, but I know how to remain positive and not to fuel negativity.
I am a member of Patriots Event Council, Link and Future Christian Athletes club at school. I am an active member of my church's youth group.
