My interest of football started at the age of 4, this started my journey of learning to be a team player not only learning right from wrong but wanting to be a role model for others and setting good examples. The only rule that I had to abide by was to make sure my grades were above standard, that wasn't an option. The sport of football has assisted me in developing a strong work ethic, a will to win like no other, and to accept defeat gracefully.
My academic goal currently is to maintain no less than a GPA of 3.5 while being a student athlete, and applying knowledge learned in the classroom in everyday life situations on and off the field. It is not all about being smart but applying mental smartness.
One of the most important things i have learned is that my size does not dictate who I am on the field, I have managed to be successful in any and all positions asked of me by my coaches. I possess leadership, strong faith, and a strong work ethic.
For college, it is a goal to play a sport that I am passionate about as a means to further my academic goals while fulfilling my dream in being successful in earning a sport medicine degree.
I appreciate the time you have taken to read my personal statement and i hope you would consider me as a member of your team. Look forward in speaking with you in the near future.
