Calvin Hughes '24 Recruiting Profile

I have loved football since the third grade, and I entered high school made a goal to  become a successful student athlete and compete at the next level once I graduated. I am  looking for the opportunity to compete on the field and in the college classroom. I feel confident  in my ability to do so. My goal is to use my performance on the  football field  to support my dream of earning a Business  degree . Every team needs players who possess good character, and a willingness to learn, grow, and work hard. I am that player. I have shown evidence of these attributes through my academic performance, my actions on the field, and how I carry myself every day. However, my word is not enough, my coaches, teachers, and family can attest to this as well. My will to be a great man and football player has made me hungry, humble, and hard working and I am willing to give my heart,sweat,blood,and tears  to perform at the next level.  Each season I have not only arose to the challenges of what has been required of me on the field, but through determination I have excelled in the classroom. I am looking for a school and a team that will help me grow as a human being; prepare me to be a strong and competent business professional; and challenge me to be the best student athlete I can be.
