Cody Williamson '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Cody Williamson, and I am a 5'11" 180 lb. athlete at Centennial High School in Franklin, TN.  I have always loved football but have only played tackle since 7th grade. My inspiration to play football and do my best is my grandpa who played at West Virginia University and comes to all of my games.

During my freshman year, I started at slot receiver and safety for JV and played safety on the varsity level too.  My teammates and coaches motivate me to be a hard worker and never be satisfied.  My future goal is to play Division 1 college football at a school known for academics, as well as sports.  My current goal is to become the starting safety on varsity in my upcoming sophomore season.  I would like to graduate high school with a 4.5 GPA and be a National Merit Scholar.  I look forward to the challenges placed before me and plan on working hard to achieve my goals.
