Zeke Slone '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Zeke Slone, I'm a class of 2026. I am a 4.0 student. The gridiron has been my second home for the past eight years. What sets me apart as a candidate for any team is not just my love for the game and my experience on the field, but the deep-rooted values, work ethic I bring with me and that  I am an all around player on both sides of the ball. 

I've played every position on the offense other than the line and I have played all linebacker positions on defense. I have played football since the start of my 6th grade years and I have always loved playing sports and I have tried almost all of them, but once I got onto the football field ever since I have fallen in love with it. My dream is to become an inspiration to children and go D1 and hopefully pro one day. I have a very hard work ethic and just enjoy playing ball. 

What truly makes me stand out as a candidate for any team is my commitment to excellence.I wake up every morning at 6 A.M. and make a healthy breakfast with lots of protein. I look over my game film daily and always find something new I need to be working on. As an all A Student I take immense pride in maintaining my academic performance, which is a reflection of my dedication to excellence on and off the football field. My strong work ethic and constant quest for perfection drive me to continuously improve and push my limits in all aspects of life.

As an all around player and captain of the defense I understand the pressure,the importance of teamwork, leadership, and dedication. As the captain of the defense I make sure my d-line is always lined up first and everyone knows the call. On the offense i've played all the positions i know how important a block as the full back can be to how important this catch on the next play can be. I take immense pride in these roles and the contributions I make to my team's success.

In the years ahead, my goal is to continue my growth as a student-athlete, setting the example for my teammates and peers. I aspire to reach my full potential on the football field while maintaining my academic excellence. I aim to honor my family's legacy by giving my best to my team and my studies.

I am a young athlete who embodies the values of hard work, dedication, and teamwork. My journey in football and academics is just beginning, and I wholeheartedly embrace the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. With the guidance and support of my family, coaches, and teammates, I will continue to strive for excellence in all aspects of my life, the valuable lessons I've gained from the football field.
