2017 was quite a year of transition moving with my family and jumping from a small 1A program to a very competitive 6A program in West Knoxville. While running and jumping through the off season with Track & Field, I worked with a private QB coach at D1 Sports Training of Knoxville to improve both my throwing mechanics and strength as well as stepping up my footwork. Through my S&C and nutrition was able to hit my goal of 200lbs by end of summer.
Football has been my number one passion since I was 7 years old. After growing up watching college football every Saturday with my family, I aspired to play at the collegiate level myself. I know that playing college ball is a once in a lifetime opportunity, which is why I am determined to be the hardest working student athlete you will find.
I work every day to improve my skills on and off the field. I am always working to get bigger, faster, and stronger. I am a very coachable player, and I'm constantly striving for perfection.
I always study hard in the classroom to maintain good grades. I am also a determined musician, volunteering at my local church to serve, and to lead musically.
My goal is to attend a college that will push me to improve all of my skills and knowledge to the best of my abilities. I hope to be a leader on the football field, as well as in the classroom.
As my high school career officially comes to an end, I reflect on the blessing 2018 has been. Playing for a district title. Making the playoffs. Playing competitively with some of the best teams and players in Tennessee on some really large stages. God is so good. Being able to play this amazing game has been such a blessing in my life, and I can only give the credit to the one who gave me my ability to go out there every Friday and give my all!! My journey has been amazing, and is not over! But how great it is to be able to reflect on the last few years with such joy and content. The life-long relationships that I’ve made with coaches, players, and fans have been so sweet. I have been so blessed.
