Kameron Lee '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kameron Lee and I am a Junior at Southwind High School in Memphis, TN. Currently, I stand 6?0 feet tall and weigh 255 pounds. My interest in football was acquired at a very young age and my career goal has been focused to playing football as I matriculate through my high school years while training, practicing, and acquiring the needed skills to pave my way to play at the collegiate level in hopes to potentially play in the National Football League (NFL) someday. In my years of playing football for various youth leagues, middle school and now high school, I have been able to work on my techniques, physical skills, and the intrinsic motivation and play determination that is needed by a player to be executed on the field. These techniques have fundamentally paved the way for me to move onto the starting lineup as an offensive lineman for the varsity football team. Prior to me acquiring this position I was the kicker during my sophomore year for both the varsity and junior varsity teams. I believe in my abilities as a leader, who is focused, determined, and dedicated to succeed at being the best player possible while helping my to become the best team. Education is the key component that serves as the driving force in me becoming the person I strive to be; therefore, it is without a doubt that academics must be a focal point in driving my dreams. Currently, I am ranked in the top twenty-five percent of my class with a major in Business and Finance. In addition to the aforementioned, I am enrolled in Honors English, Geometry, World History and Criminal Justice courses here at Southwind High School. I also extend myself to working in my community by serving as a youth volunteer for the VerizionWireless, ? How Sweet the Sounds? tour, MIFA?s Feed the Need campaign and ?Go Green? initiative that our city and county are promoting for to the citizen?s within the Bluff area. I would like to visit as many colleges as possible to help me in making my decision. I look forward to visiting and speaking with every interested college coach.
