Hello,
My name is Lane Ranly and I am currently in the 9th grade with a graduation year of 2026. I have been playing football since I was six and it is one of my favorite sports. I have played multiple positions both on offense and defense. I started playing quarterback when I was 11 and have really enjoyed it ever since. This year I earned the spot of the starting quarterback on the Varsity and was chosen as the 2nd Team All District QB. We had an exciting season and made it to the first round of the playoffs, which has not happened at my school for a few years. With only six senior graduating and over 20 freshman and sophomores returning, I know my team will do even better in the years to come. Other sports that I participate in include basketball, baseball, and golf and track. Being a part of a team is fun and rewarding.
I have been working very hard over the last few years to gain experience and improve my skills as Quarterback as it is my favorite position. My short term goal is become stronger, faster and a better player for my school team. Longterm, I really want to continue to play at the next level for a college team as a quarterback. I love the sport of football, enjoy being part of a team, and think playing at the next level would be a great experience.
I believe I would be a good recruit candidate for several reasons. Some of my character traits are that I am responsible, respectful, coachable, dependable, a hard worker, and a quick learner. I make sure I put in the work and make good grades so that I am available for whatever my team needs when they need it.
