From the young age of 5, I had planned out my education and goals while I attended Grace Academy of Dallas (K3-4th) and All Saints Catholic School (5th & 6th) (both private schools). My dream was to graduate high school at Jesuit in Dallas, College years at Texas A&M, then go pro into the NFL. After retirement from the NFL my dream is to own my own sporting goods stores. Since we moved out of the city of Dallas and moved to Allen, Texas I have enjoyed Allen's public schools and truly love the football program. My sister did not enjoy the public-school setting, so she went back to private at Prestonwood Christian Academy. I was given the chance to go back to the private school setting but have decided to stay in Allen since their football program is one of the best in the state if not the nation.
My parents over the years had graciously paid for private lessons with a former NFL player Marcus Thigpen as well with a former college Quarterback Coach McGee. As a young kid not only was I playing football, but I also played soccer. The soccer instructor was as retired British soccer player. The instructor not only would have me play with my age group but would only invite me to play with his older kids' class at most of their events.
In 7th & 8th grade at Ereckson Middle School under Coach Flowers direction, I was asked multiple times to Quarterback some of the games. In my High School years, I have been a starter, been on special teams and also been a wide receiver. I am not afraid to play different positions, it's all for the love of the sport.
I understand that football is not everything in life and have maintained my focus on my faith and academics as well. I attend church services every Sunday with my family at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas. I have taken 2 years of sign language even though my mother is Hispanic and asked me to take Spanish instead, but in the end, she knows God has a plan and only he knows what the future holds for me and the sign language I have learned.
I would love to be given the opportunity to continue training and playing in the college level. I sincerely appreciate the time and interest you have taken to read a little bit about me.
