Xavion Walker '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coach:

My name is Xavion Walker.  I am a set (6'3”, 180 pounds).  I attend Mansfield Timberview High School in Arlington and I have a 3.5 GPA. I received a 1030 on my SAT, I maintain an “A/B” average, I am consistently on honor roll, and I have received multiple academic achievement awards.   My intended college major is business/ real estate .

I am a strong quarterback and my skill set improved pretty well since my Freshman year. My High School career started at Killeen High School where I had moved up to Varsity by the end of my sophomore year. I was able to capitalize, move the chains, and get points for our team in each Varsity game I played. 

In 2019, my junior year was cut short just as I was beginning to fall into place with my new team at Mansfield Timberview High School. I experienced  an ACL tear when I ran in for the touch down. The good news is that my knee is  100% now.

 I have been working with PT and trainers, getting stronger, and  even  in the midst of this COVID situation, I continue to grind. 

My family, teammates, and my faith are important to me. And other than training and putting in the work, I have a part-time job at my dad’s restaurant where I am one of the cooks.
