Isaiah Rodriguez '22 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals and aspirations are two-fold.  Academics is my priority as I  aspire to be a registered nurse. It is a dream I have pursued from an early age.  I work hard everyday to reach that goal.  I will complete the medical pathway with a certified nurses aid (CNA) certificate upon graduation from high school. As passionate as I am about the medical field, I am equally committed to athletics.  I possess an unwavering dedication to the sport of football.  I love it.  It nourishes me.  It feeds my soul.  

I am different from other recruits in two different ways. No one else on the team will be as open to critique and improvement as I will be.  I am always looking to get better.  I feel that a good coach is capable of bringing out the very best in athletes, and I truly look forward to that.  Secondly, I’m different from other recruits in work ethic.  No one will outwork me.  I will be at practice early and stay late.  I will work harder than what is expected of me.  I always give my best.  My love for the sport coupled with my passion allows me to go on and on.  I am loyal and driven.   Coaches will always be able to count on me to do more than what is expected of me.
