Ethan Lollar, C/O 2022, QB/P/Athlete, 4.55 Weighted GPA, NHS, Hudl Film
Hi Coach, please see Hudl Varsity Film with stats in this email.
Let me start with "I love football". I have been playing since I was 5 years old. I pride myself on being coachable, being a good teammate, and having a high work rate.
I am the Varsity QB for Frisco Memorial HS in Frisco, Texas. I am a product of Seneca Wallace (Iowa State and NFL Quarterback). I can provide his contact information for character and evaluation reference. I have been QB Training with Seneca Wallace going on 4 years.
I was promoted to Varsity my sophomore year as QB & Punter, but have also played RB, Inside Slot WR, OLB, Safety, and Kicker. I am a true Quarterback, but I am open to helping my team in any of these other positions as I know it's not just about me.
I study film daily to continue to evolve my train of thought when I am behind my offensive line. As QB it is a chess match every game you play vs. the defense.
I am an Athlete who gave up playing Division-1 Soccer for FC Dallas Club as well as Triple A Baseball my freshman year to focus completely football. I am on the Varsity Powerlifting team ranked 59th out of 172 for the 2020 North Texas Region 5A, 6A Division 1, (181 lbs. Weight Class). Finished 6th in Regionals Varsity Powerlifting.
I am a tireless workhorse. You can ask any of my coaches. I can play within any system due to my footwork, both from shotgun and under center. I can play Pro Style QB or Dual Threat. I am a versatile QB that has the ability to see/read the field quickly. I have a strong quick release with an accurate arm. I make throws on the run and have a good touch. I can make ALL throws on the field short, medium, long range. Please view the film. I love my teammates, and always try to get them together during the off season and during the season to continue to improve our skills. Check out twitter workout thread. It never stops for me. I just love to work. My parents have built that in me. Ask anyone who knows me from family, friends, coaches, trainers, teachers.
Academics are more important to me than anything. I take AP classes and I am a member of the National Honor Society. I currently have a weighted 4.65 GPA.
I am strong in my faith. I help others less fortunate around me. My youngest brother has is on the Autism spectrum. I enjoy hanging out with my brother and helping him out in football. I love hanging with my family and friends. I love the beach & mountains. In my spare time I like to go fishing, bike riding, and skiing when we get an opportunity.
One of my Favorite Quotes is "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard". I love to COMPETE!
Thanks, Ethan Lollar
