Cody Smith,I am a 6'1" Sr. Quarterback from Johnson City, Tx. "I know that my dreams & ambition will only take me as far as I am willing to work for and it is for this reason that I will continue to push myself toward excellence and distinction in every aspect of my life." During my freshman year I competed for and won the starting QB spot on varsity and was awarded district newcomer of the year, 1st team all-district QB and 1st team Academic all-district QB. I have been my team's starter through my entire high school career and my Jr season was awarded 1st team all-district Qb again, Offensive Player of The Year, and was named team captain. With the end of my Senior season I was awarded, All-State QB Honorable Mention, 1st Team All-State Academic, and All District MVP. Currently my GPA is 3.88, class rank is #2,SAT score total 2100, M-710,CR-730,CW-660. ACT score is 28. It is important to me to attend a school that can provide me with both a quality education and the opportunity to be an important part of a football program with great coaches, in an environment that I will remember and be proud of for the rest of my life.
