Playing football in college has always been my goal ever since I first strapped on pads when I was eight years old. It's the ultimate team game, requiring each player to work together to achieve success. Thus, it has been one of the biggest influences in my life in teaching me life lessons. The value of hard work and perseverance was something I learned during my Junior season when my team was predicted to finish last in our district. Through hard work and teamwork, we qualified for playoffs, ending a three year playoff drought.
The prospect of college football is the opportunity of a lifetime, allowing me to grow academically, athletically, and most importantly, as a man of character. Academics is one of my highest priorities in life as well as putting my all into whatever I do. With me, a coach can be assured that he is getting not only a motivated student, but a hard-working athlete both on and off the field. I pride myself in giving my best to whatever I do, especially to my team and the game that I love.
