Wade Brunson '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Wade Brunson and I live in Fillmore, Utah. My goal is to play college ball and work toward the highest level possible for myself. I'm dedicated to working really hard on the field, while focusing in the classroom to maintain good grades. Freshmen year I had a good season at Desert Hills Highschool and was chosen for the All State Utah vs the Nation game. Sophomore year, we moved to Fillmore. The season was going well and I was going to get varsity time, but strained my hip flexor and couldn't play at 100% for the rest of the season. Junior year I was doing really well during camps, but second week into pre-season,  I tore my ACL halfway through the game ending my junior season. I also Wrestle and do Track and field in the offseason to maintain and build for upcoming football seasons. I consider myself very coachable and a team player. I like receiving feedback to improve my game. I am also open to other position if the coaches feel I am a better fit there. I have played all around the field offense and defense as well as special teams.
