Brandon Faison '12 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Brandon Faison I'm 5'11 and I weigh 170 lbs. I'm currently a recruited Freshman football player at Mid-American Nazerene University in Olathe, KS. Last year during my senior year at Layton, Utah I was a 1A First Team All-State wide-receiver in all three major newspapers and First Team All-Area for the Northern Utah region. I was awarded team MVP by my Coach for playing my role as a senior leader and leading my team from an 0-4 start to a State Championship appearance for the first time in school history. I also closed out my senior year in high school with a career performance in track. I finished 1st in 200m, 2nd in 100m and anchored the 4x100m team to a 2nd place finish all in the Utah State 2A Championship meet. During my junior year; I qualified for the Utah State 2A final track meet held at BYU and competed in four events: 100m, 200m, 4x100 relay and long jump and made it to finals in each event. I also would like to run track at some point in my collegiate career. If you're looking for a playmaker and leader I'm your guy. I'm that type of player who has a lot of energy and is able to pass it on to my teammates. It has been my dream to play football at the college level. I'm looking for the college that best suits me and that will challenge me on and off the field. I would like to attend a family oriented school big or small that has a great athletic and academic program. I would like to play for a coach who trust me in everyway and that treats me like a student athlete and not just a number on the roster. My main goal in college is to first receive a good education. I'm currently majoring in Fitness Training with the hope of one day becoming a Physical Therapist or Certified Trainer. My dream is to play and to become the best student athlete I can be at the next level. I'm coachable and willing to do what it takes to help my team succeed. I am willing and ready to play for any coach for FOUR Consecutive years. If given the opportunity to play at the next level; I will not let you or my team down; I can guarantee you that!!
