I have been out of high school for five years now. Tough family circumstances prevented me from playing in college right out of high school. Since graduating I have continued to work out and play semi-pro baseball and football as I've pursued a degree in Education planning to one day teach in high school and coach football. I spend the summers helping coach at my Van Horn High School in Kansas City, Missouri. I hunger to continue playing football at the next level. My ultimate goal is to gain experience at the college level to help strengthen my resume as a future coach and to contribute to the success of the team I play for. I am confident that I have the physical ability (I've obviously filled out since graduation) and the football acumen (since staying involved with my high school's football team) to help a football team. My age, maturity, and college experience separate me from the kids coming straight out of high school.
