Hello, I am a 6’5” 255lb. Senior at Cyprus High School in Magna, Utah. Magna is a small town in a big city. As a team captain this year I helped lead my High School to their first playoff appearance in well over a decade. This year I was awarded the most improved player and made All-Region 2nd team. The men I play with love the game and being. Our team saying is “winning is isn't normal” It's an acronym for W.I.N. because only one team ever truly wins, and we would like to be that winner. Winning is important, but I think it’s just as important to learn life lessons and to enjoy what you are doing. I believe I would be a great addition to a college team. I know my size helps me stand out and being of Polynesian descent football seems to be part of our culture but my heart and willingness to work is what made me a team captain. I know I have a lot to learn about football even though its been part of my life the last 10 years. I am looking for a university where I can make a difference on the team as well as a university that can offer me an opportunity to succeed on and off the field.
I played football my freshman year on the Sophomore team and I made the Varsity line-up my junior year at the right tackle position. Since the season has ended, I have been in the gym working hard so that I can be even stronger, smarter and better my senior year.
My family is very important to me. They support me all the way, not only in football but with my education. My family has always stressed that education and commitment are the keys to success. I have been taking honors classes as well as AP classes. My current cumulative grade point average is a 3.1.
