Kicker - Aaron Yo...Personal Statement
Greetings!
My Name is Aaron Young. I am currently a Junior in High School. I play football, soccer, volleyball and compete in debate.
My ultimate desire is to get a full-ride scholarship as a kicker on your football team.
As an incoming High School Freshman starting varsity, I hit a 55 yard field goal in practice, a 60 yard field goal as a Sophomore and 65 as a Junior. My longest try in a game is 46 yards, in which I split the uprights for 3.
In December of 2023, I kicked against some of the best in the nation at the by invite only, Kicking World National Showcase in Austin, TX, winning the field goal competition with 9 for 9 through 63 yards. I also placed 4th in kickoffs.
I am a team player, learn fast and have excellent rapport with my administrators, teachers, coaches and my peers, both older and younger.
