As a multi sport athlete my sports have taught me many different life lessons to use on and off the field. In the game of football you have to master your craft so you can provide your best to the team. To do this you have to put it time and hours of work outside of team practice and work on your individual capabilities. In football I've learned that on the field if one person doesn't do their job then the other team will succeed against you. If you shank your punt or miss a field goal then the opposing team can take advantage of that. Along with football I've also played soccer and basketball. In soccer you also have to work on your own skills, to succeed as a team however you have to find a way to use your individual skills along with your teammates skills. In basketball I've learned that the plays don't work unless everyone does their part. If someone misses their screen or the cutter goes on the wrong side of the screen then the whole play gets shut down. These lessons have helped me in sports and have also made me a better person off the field/court. In college I still haven't decided what I want to major in but I'm leaning towards a business major right now.
