Joseph Cariaga '24 Recruiting Profile

Aloha, my name is Joseph Cariaga III I am 15 years old, born and raised in Hawaii. I play Football and my position for football is Quarterback, Wide Receiver, Cornerback, and Safety. Im one of those players that has played every position but Line since i first started playing. I just wanna play the entire game both sides of the ball so I try to perfect my craft for everything I play.  I am a sophomore at Maui High school. Also, I have a GPA of a 3.8. I will be playing Multiple sports this coming school year hence I couldn't play any High School sports due to Covid-19.  The following sports that I will be playing is Football, Baseball, Basketball, Track, Volleyball, and Paddling. 

My colligate goals is to go to any Division 1-A School, I'd prefer to be more towards the west coast, however i'll be gratified to receive any D-1 offer. Nonetheless, my goals and dreams do not stop there... I want to be great every second I breath i'm working whether is sports, school, free-time or things at home like chores.  I workout 2-4 times a day, I am very dedicated,  committed,  ambitious, hardworking, competitive, and humble. I don't like to talk a lot and let my actions do the talking.  

I know my Responsibilities as a Student-Athlete, friend, family member, and a son of the islands and community. I represent the team on my chest and the name on my back.  It is my responsibility to take care of my grades, my work in the weight room and the field, my family, my friends, and my island, and community because I know they take care of me. I try to love and respect everyone I meet.  As Marcus Mariota once said," My Parents always told me to be respectful to everyone you meet and to live your life that way. There's no reason to be angry or impolite. Just be who you are and respect meet. " I try to be a role model to the younger generation and lead by example because they are the future of the islands as well as me.
