I never quit, and I never give less than my best. Period. I’ve had several life challenges thrown my way that have only strengthened my character and perseverance. For example as a sophomore I found out I had a rare skin cancer. I quickly got it taken care of and about a year later I was in remission. Another example was Junior year I got a bad foot injury. I had to get surgery in the offseason and couldn’t do anything with my foot until May. Yet, I worked hard in the summer and my senior year has been my best year yet. I am also different in the sense that I’ve never gotten less than a 4.0 GPA. I take academics very seriously. I put that same effort in to everything I do.
