John Jaggers '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a High School Quarterback seeking an opportunity to prove myself in a team-oriented football program where my competitive leadership, abilities, attitude, and daily work ethic would be an asset to the team. My HS mainly uses the Single Wing offense with some spread occasionally. During the 2021 Spring and Fall seasons, I was slotted behind 2 Division-1 Athletes (Clemson and JMU) on a team that won Back 2 Back, 5A Virginia State Championships. Rather than gripe or complain, I focus on the things I can control - Getting better and being a great teammate. I am a coachable, disciplined QB who can put the ball where you want it, on time. I take all AP or Dual Enrollment classes while balancing practice, strength and conditioning training, and QB training. My goals for any team I join are to be coachable, a team player, lead by example, and win games. I am confident in my abilities as a QB. I know I can make any team better and will compete hard for the QB1 slot.
