Peyton Rutherford '20 Recruiting Profile

My love of the game of football started as a child where I took my first steps on the high school practice field where my dad was coaching. As I grew up watching my father coach I could not wait to play the game myself. Coming from a long line of athletes my family has always excelled in sports. I have always challenged myself to strive to be the best I can in athletics, academics, giving back to my community and being a good person. Being a three sport athlete and excelling academically in honors courses is a personal goal of mine. Academically my goal is to stay on the path of dual enrollment to receive the most I can from my high school education.  I am looking for a college program that is a good fit for me academically and athletically.

I have learned through playing football that I like being a part of a team and I love the pressure to perform that football demands of you.  I am prepared and committed to bring my strong work-ethic, talent, and character to a college program and feel I would be a solid addition to any team.
