Michael Birdsong '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Michael Birdsong, I am a 6'4, 220lb QB from Chesterfield, Va. I attend Matoaca High school. I Have been a 3 sport athlete since i was 5 years old, but the thing i love doing most by far is leading those 10 guys in the huddle with me down the grdiron to score touchdowns. After missing the 1st 4 games of the season due to injury i came back not missing a beat and finished the seaon 2nd in the central region in passing yards per game with 175. Ever since i was a little kid ive alwasy wanted to play in front of thousands of screaming fans, so i would prefer a larger college, not only because of that but i feel like i can compete with the best in the country. It doesnt really matter to me how far away a college is, i could play anywhere and in any type of climate. I feel where ever i go i could make a difference in that i am a leader on and off the field and im a great motivator. I'd say that my best attributes on the field would be reading the defense and being able to place the ball anywhere on the field and when things are going bad being able to get control of the guys and calm them down. I would like the college to have good classroom assistance to help me walk out atleast with a 4-year degree.
