My name is Luke Bussel. I completed an undefeated season as the Fork Union Military Academy starting QB in 2018 and enrolled in the spring semester, 2019 at Virginia Tech where I play for Coach Fuente.
During my senior year of high school, I finished a very successful season and was selected for the Blue-Grey ALL AMERICAN Bowl on 6 Jan 2018 where I earned the Starting Quarterback job for the North Team.
I finished my senior season with a 72% accuracy & completion rating and a QBR of 167.8. I also rushed for over 1000 yards.

Character: I am Christian, the Son of a U.S. Marine, an Eagle Scout, and Team Captain for my HS Varsity Team and at Fork Union Military Academy.
I was a HS Four-Sport Varsity Letterman in Football, Basketball, Track, and Soccer. I am an Eagle Scout and active in my Church. I consider myself to be a leader and young man of character. I have represented my teams as Team Captain on nearly every team I have played on over the last sixteen years. My coaches have said I have great attitude, am very teachable and coachable, and one of the hardest working athletes and leaders they have seen.
I made the Superintendent’s Honor Roll each semester and graduated high school with a 3.81 GPA. My Fork Union GPA was a 4.0. I am a HS National Honor Society inductee. I am an Exercise Science major at Virginia Tech with a 3.21 GPA. As of Jan 2021, I started my Junior year academically and still have four years of eligibility remaining.
After college, my dream is to become an NFL football player. I am doing everything possible to make that dream come true.
Very Respectfully,
Luke Bussel
