2018 HighlightsFreshman highlights Personal Statement
- I have enjoyed playing football since I was seven. However, I really fell in love with the game as a High School athlete. My first year as a freshman our team won districts. While our Freshman team does not offer the opportunity to advance to a State Championship. I was flattered when our Varsity team advanced to regionals and offered me the opportunity to come up to their team. Through football I have come out of my shell, I have become a leader on my freshman team. I have learned so much about the brotherhood of football and about working as a team. This past year I learned to never give up even when we are down. As a leader for my team I know how important it is to keep my team grounded and focused.
- I look forward to college. Not only do I look forward to playing football but also gaining lifelong skills to move forward in a career. I strive hard to maintain good grades and often seek extra credit or test retakes to improve my grades when needed. I am excited for the opportunity to connect with coaches and potential schools.
