Ethan Norah '24 Recruiting Profile

I am Ethan A. Norah, senior class of 2024, Linebacker from Colgan Senior High School, Manassas, VA. Team CAPT. 2023 All-Cardinal District Team Selection. Colgan Varsity Defensive Football Player of the Year. 2023 Stats: 109 Total Tackles, 22 TFLs, 4.0 Sacks, Forced Fumble, 3 Fumble Recoveries, INT for TD (64 yds.), & Blocked Punt.

I am grateful for the opportunity and support shown during my college recruiting process. College recruitment has been a personal growth journey to achieving my goals both academically and athletically. 

Football has always been a large part of my life, a form of family engagement and activity. My interest in football grew from my late father. He is my greatest inspiration and first Coach—his passion for the game, knowledge, and loyalty have motivated me and helped me discover my talent and passion for football. 

I advanced to the varsity football team in my freshman year of 2019-2020. The opportunity to play alongside senior players, shadow, and mentorship inspired me. The experience enhanced my physical and academic abilities and resiliency to advance to the next level. This year, leading my team as defense captain has strengthened my leadership skills on and off the field and helped develop teamwork. The recognition received by Prince William County Sports for Spotlight Player, 2023 All-Cardinal District Team Selection, and Colgan Defensive Football Player of the Year amplifies my talents, skills, and abilities to play football at the next level.

While performing as a student-athlete in college, I aim to explore a computer science major focusing on cybersecurity, with a minor in film and media. My high school experience has helped me to balance my passion for football and academic responsibility. With your support, I will strive to be the greatest asset to the team and the athletic program.
