I had a ruff start as a kid but I worked my way back up to get here where I am now and my goal is to go college and play the sport I love and I'm working to hard to because better at my sport and I do other sports to stay in shape like wrestling track and soccer after football but football is my priority and my dream.
reference from my coach "Derek Baird is a very physical corner who understands coverages and his assignments. From the corner position he is not afraid to come up and play the run as he is a hard hitter. From the wide receiver position, Derek has great hands and is a fantastic blocker on the outside. What is most impressive about Derek, is his energy and effort at all times. He pursues great from the corner position and is looking to get in on every tackle. Offensively, he does a great job of making his blocks and looking down field to make the next one.
