Jacob Mulhern '25 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was little, my brother and I shared a common goal to play sports in college.  This year, my brother graduated and has achieved that goal of playing college baseball...now it's my turn to achieve that goal.  I am a Junior at Kettle Run High School in Warrenton, VA.  Unlike many athletes I go to school with, I actually play 3 Varsity Sports (Football, Basketball, and Baseball) and was a contributing member of the State Runner-Up football team.  My goal is to find a school to continue playing football or baseball or even both if I can add value to the programs - I know that is not likely, but all my life I have surprised everyone.  Athletics is not the only thing that defines me - I currently have a 3.8 GPA and enjoy math and working with my hands.  Our school does not weight honors classes, but I have completed multiple honors-level courses and currently taking AP Statistics.  

For 2022 my sophomore year, I played QB, WR, and KR on the Varsity Football Team - Dressed Varsity Basketball (PG/SG - missed first 4 weeks due to football playoff run so I played JV on our Senior loaded team) - and Pitched for the Varsity Baseball Team (23.1 IP, 30ks, .989 ERA, 2W, 2Sv - and will be starting the district championship game).  I have received the Position MVP Award at National Prep Combine Virginia and Rank in the top 150 2025 grads for baseball in Virginia according to PBR.  If you want a well-rounded athlete who is used to handling pressure in multiple situations and playing in high-pressure moments then I want to learn more about your program and how I can contribute to it's continued goal of excellence.
