Tristin "Corey" Thompson '14 Recruiting Profile

Through all my experiences growing up and participating in athletics, I have found a haven in football. It has taught me many lessons and skills. I have found a family within my brotherhood of teammates and strength in myself as an athlete and student. I am hoping to earn the opportunity to advance my skills to the next level, playing with a college team and a new brotherhood.  I will deliver a strong sense of sportsmanship and integrity, which I have strived to develop and demonstrate through all my years of playing football and other sports. I am hard working, strong willed, and eager for the chance to represent my future school on the field, in the classroom, and amongst the public. I strive for success. It is my passion. As an athlete it is my goal to bring my passion to my everyday life, no matter where I am. In all aspects of my world, I will work the hardest possible to bring success to anything and everything I can.

My immediate goals are to attend college and play football. Attending college will lead me to attain my long-term goal of a career in law.  Realistically, athletics are not necessary to meet my career goals, however, the enhancement that college athletics can add to the relationships built, as well as the memories made, while in college, can prove to be as beneficial to a career as a degree. I want the college experience on and off the field to play a key role in my future successes. The first step in my new journey is to find a college home, a place to belong and grow as a person and as an athlete.
