Personal Statement

I have been playing football since I was 5. Since I first stepped on the field, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level. On offense I am the starting offensive right tackle. On defense I  have significant playing time at defensive tackle. I am also the backup long snapper for  punts and field goals. I have strong run and pass blocking skills, soft and reliable hands, strong physical defense, and a high football IQ. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players for any team I am a part of.

Off the field, I challenge myself in the classroom taking Honors level classes, study hard, and maintain a high GPA, presently at a 4.0. I also volunteer at my local recreational league coaching youth lacrosse athletes and volunteer at the local military veteran’s clubs.

I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the football field. As a three sport varsity athlete in high school, I started and lettered my freshman year as a long pole defender on the lacrosse team  and earned a varsity letter as a freshman throwing the shot put and qualifying for the Virginia Regional Championships on the boy’s track and field team. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all peers and make my parents proud.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
