I am currently 5’-10", 190 pounds, run a 4.7 forty, carry a 4.28 GPA (4.00) and rank #6 in my Senior class of 457. I am a 4-year varsity starter and this year’s Defensive Captain. Our team finished 8-2-0 (7-1-0 Conference) and claimed the AAA Virginia Commonwealth District Championship and AAA Virginia Northwest Regional Championship. I finished the season with 170 tackles (53 Solo, 117 Assists, 25 TFL, 10 Sacks, 7 Forced Fumbles and 2 Fumble Recoveries), Our team runs multiple variations of a 4-2/4-3/4-4/5-2/5-3;depending on the offense we’re facing. I not only play LB, I am also the team’s long snapper. My coach loves my versatility as a defensive player and I take personal pride in studying film to make our team stronger. Speaking of versatility, last year we ran a 4-2-5 defense and I played all 5 defensive back positions, as well as the 2 linebacker positions plus special teams.
My educational goals are to earn a degree in sports medicine, kinesiology, athletic training, exercise science, etc., ultimately leading to medical school and a career in physical therapy or orthopedics.
