First and foremost, my biggest goal for the next five years is to obtain a good college education. I would love to do so through something that I love such as kicking. What I love most about being a kicker is feeling the energy that comes with performing under pressure and supporting my team in the face of adversity. What I've learned during my few years on the field is that contributing to your team means not only working to better yourself but helping other team mates, whether it be a fellow senior or a freshman. The rigors of being a part of a football team have helped me in the classroom by showing me what it means to pay attention to the details in any assignment as I would a field goal or kickoff. As a student athlete, I think the most important thing is to make sure that academics is something you stand on, not fall back on.
